PERSONALIZE YOUR ONLINE WEB RADIO…

 

So the idea of online web radio is no longer a new invention - nothing is really new since Shakespeare.  But I read an article in Rolling Stone this past weekend which led me to a website I LOVE.  Is anyone else sometimes bored sitting at your computer at work or at home, tired of searching for music and wishing you had something to listen to - but the music on your IPod isn’t really ‘work friendly’ or has not been updated since LFO was top of the charts?  Enter www.musicovery.com  This genius online site provides tons and tons of listening options and the best part being that it is interactive, and user friends with the option to personalize all of your options.  You can pick your music based on your mood, genre, decade and the list goes on and on.  Once you choose your mood - the choices are colour coded.  Blue being calm, etc.  If you register as a user, it will save your preferences and you can access them at any time on any computer.  Its your online Itunes for anywhere you go.  It truly makes me happy.  I can change it on the fly.  It will start playing a random song based on your choices, and then diagram the songs in a Crayola induced, acid trip of a flow chart, from there, you can click on any song and it will diagram a whole new playlist the more you narrow down your tastes.  Seriously - kill some time - go and check this thing out…GENIUS….MY NEW FAVOURITES!!!
